LGBTQ Las Vegas Romance & Weddings
LGBTQ LAS VEGAS is more than partying 24 hours a day. If you haven’t been to Vegas in the past few years you might not even recognize it. Las Vegas has top chef restaurant traditional & unique wedding/proposal venues, shopping, museums and pool parties not to be missed beside the headliner shows.
I spent last week at 2018 Romance Travel University focusing on destination weddings, honeymoons & romantic travel and was lucky enough to be picked to spend an extra day focusing on LGBTQ Weddings & honeymoons in Las Vegas. Thanks to Jim McMichael & Cheryl Smith from the Las Vegas Visitor Board who planned & guided the select few to experience LGBTQ Las Vegas. Of course we did not get to experience and see everything but did get to a few hot spots and were given great tips (best cabana at Luxor’s Temptation Sunday pool party, best table to get at the Eiffel Tower restaurant) to share with clients booking Las Vegas with Travel4Fun.
We started off with proposals & weddings (or a romantic moment) in the Eiffel Tower Viewing deck that has 360 degree views of amazing fountains & strip above the crowds. Travel4Fun can help you arrange this so you can have this moment all to yourself or a surprise event with your closest family & friends. To top off these great tips we then had a savory French Cuisine lunch at the Eiffel tower Restaurant. I am not sure what was more spectacular, watching the Bellagio Fountains from the restaurant or the food?
We then went down the strip to the Tropicana to see the beautiful gardens & terraces where you can have an event or wedding, the famous white chapel and the not to be missed old Hollywood-style Havana Room. The Havana Room has beautiful chandeliers and can seat from 50-300 people or a cocktail reception for up to 800 people. The Tropicana also has the trendy Robert Irvine Public House that has an open kitchen concept with both indoor and outdoor space and delicious comfort food. I do have to say it was our lucky day because in the kitchen (who took time out to talk to us) was Robert Irvine himself!
The Luxor Las Vegas has just renovated their hotel rooms & suites with a contemporary feel. They also have many options for events and wedding, chapels, titanic, gardens, pool , and the Blue & Red rooms. The highlight of a LGBTQ weekend at The Luxor is the, not to be missed, Temptations Pool Party held from mid-May to Labor Day on Sundays. Do not forget to ask me which is the best pool Cabana!
We ended the day with a cocktail party in a glass pod on the world's tallest Observation Wheel called the Highroller. Ask me about having a wedding ceremony or cocktail party in the Highroller. How many people do you know that can say they were 550 feet above the Las Vegas strip when they said “I do?”
